How to use Ledger Hardware wallet with Myetherwallet (MEW)

Introduction

Using hardware wallets to store your Crypto Currencies and Tokens in a harware is the safest way to manage and do the transactions since the private keys never ever leaves these devices. My top pics are (i am personally using Ledger Nano S, as the new firmware allows me to use 18 Apps :P)

Steps to access myetherwallet using Ledger

• Go to https://www.myetherwallet.com

• Choose Ledger Wallet and connect your Ledger hardware wallet to your computer/laptop and goto ethereum app on the device then click "Connect to Ledger Wallet" on the screen

• It will display the following dialogbox with all your ETH Addresses, these addresses always stays with your Ledger device and can be easily recovered with the 24 word seed which you saved while configuring your ledger device. Clicking on "Token Balances" will take you to the ethplorer.io where you can see your tokens associated and their contract address
